Adam Blumenthal founded Curious Sense in the Summer of 2008. A veteran interactive media designer and producer, Adam has been working with big brands and emerging media for 20 years. Work produced under his leadership has won numerous awards for creative excellence and business effectiveness.
Adam began his career in 1993 with a coveted one-year appointment to the prestigious Kodak Center for Creative Imaging – the preeminent digital arts academy in the world at that time. Since then, Adam has had leadership responsibilities at preeminent communications agencies including R/GA, Burson-Marsteller, and McKinney.
Adam’s first professional productions, developed before the Web existed, were for CD-ROM and digital kiosks. Among his clients were many large entertainment companies who were publishing their content as interactive multimedia for the first time. In the mid-1990s, when the Web first surfaced as a viable commercial medium, Adam was an early specialist and has always been at the cutting-edge of online media.
Adam has worked primarily in the advertising industry in New York. At the legendary, R/GA, ADWEEK’s Agency of the Decade in 2010, and a creative and technology powerhouse, Adam had the distinct honor of being chosen by founder and industry legend, Bob Greenberg, to lead several projects for which Bob was the client. At Burson-Marsteller, one of the world’s largest and oldest public relations firms, Adam was recruited to run the interactive production group. And at McKinney, an advertising agency recognized as one of the most effective in the world, Adam designed several multi-channel digital programs that fostered new forms of interaction between brands and consumers.
In the Summer of 2008 Adam fulfilled a long-time dream of running his own interactive media studio as he left the ad agency world to form Curious Sense.
